Windsurfing: Shoreham Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: F5-6 Surf / Sea State: Waist high + Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Finished work just near Shoreham Beach so went straight there. Had a
nearly new Ezzy sail delivered at lunchtime, so rigged it even though it
was pretty wiondy. Waves were nice, I pretty much spent the first hour down
past the church where the waves were peeling a bit better, wind was cross
shore, with even a hint of offshore, which can make the right wave a
pleasure. Wrapped a few cheeky ones round the lip. Waist high? With a few
bigger ones. Not epic by any means and quite a challenge to link turns.
But it was lining up for long fun rides. Size dropped as the tide went out,
but still fun and I left before it started getting really flat.
